Hello Jen, sometimes not doing something is the best way to help. If you do not know or do not, then you better wait until the professionals. I can understand if you see something, and I think that is a person who should be doing more, but to help more in the state of compensation that we are winning, people willing to.
Where I personally help, I can try, but at the same time, I am not prepared to go beyond my knowledge, perhaps, if the situation so critical that a person can die, I would ask if I know the basics, but other medical matters most professionals. #

They are trained in first aid so they can begin to help ensure a person. Of course, not all use the same medical devices, would be an EMT, but they have first aid kits, so that they can do the basics to obtain EMT. They are also fully trained in first aid and resuscitation.
