I know my Chevy Equinox can tow a PONTOON BOAT from point a to b, does anyone know if it can pull out of H2O? - best towing pontoon trailer
The equinox should have up to 3500 pounds of towing the CAP. I understand that we take into account the need to take the car loaded. The pontoon boat is a pontoon 20 feet and can be found online, it seems that the total weight of the pontoons, trailers, and motor Ruffly is 2500th So in that sense, we know we can pull the ship from point A to point B, but can pull the water? How much weight taken into account in developing the water? The equinox is a time AWD. The boat trailer is a single-axle trailer. Any help would be very grateful. Thank you!

Pontoon boats with displacement hulls are removed twice as much light as to offer little resistance from the water. There should be no problem.
Your Equinox should also work on a motor vehicle. AWS is the front-drive until the system detects, wheel slippage, then transfers some torque to the rear wheels, which also is not desirable for the transfer in the 4WD mode, it should be a good job instead.
To get the security on the ramp to your boat, use spacers to the rear wheels. It is also the launch pad.
When towing note that pontoon boats have a higher resistance of the wind and more pressure on them will cross wind. If it towing a principle that you can download a good idea if before.
Hope this helps
I agree with almost everything everyone has posted a problem, but it's something big, there's no way the boat motor and trailer weighs 2.500 kilograms. I'm not saying that you exceed the towing capacity of 3,500 kilograms, but are very close, and towing, drag the right place for long periods is never a good idea.
I have a 26 'Bennington, then I have at your site as a reference, I attach a link to your "base" of 20 feet, without many options or other equipment, weights are about 2100 books, no motor, fuel -, transmission, or a trailer! If you increase pontoons than 25 mm in diameter weight is about 2500 pounds.

Now add the device and an engine of 500-700 pounds, EASY
Now add a trailer;

See where I ?.?.?
So, as I said before, is not more than 3500 pounds of "maximum recommended" ... But she does not think is "right or"Ith the greater good.
As previously announced, I believe that in a dry pad for occasional use and how at the beginning or the end of the season, it should go ... But we think a little bit about if you plan to enter / exit the lake twice a week.
(Perhaps the head of the local landfill / recycling center, or whatever, and in spite of his platform ... initially charged with just your car, and then by boat or trailer)

Although not pull and 40 feet above the water should be good Cuz I pull my boat and water in the trailer, where about half black and he goes, everything is good cuz most full-time AWD.
It should go - the 3500 # towing capacity is on the road as well - which means you drive at high speed - or the overdrive gear. Leaving the boat in the water, no problem for you because they have moved the vehicle (either manually or automatically) in the 1st Gait - a lot of torque to the wheels and not too much stress on the engine.
Do not worry - you have no problem with the vehicle and the platform
Pullling out of the water is no problem. The main problem is the height of an inclined plane boat ramp is at risk. I would say that after the fire a lot of boats over a long period, the right to remove up to € 2500 without any problems, unless a very steep. The time is too short, if this is not something warm, especially the transmission / gearbox. One consideration, of course, draws the wheel, ie, the equinox will be dry and ready to fire. IT is an enormous profit. I think you are very good when you try on a hill in the water with a slight train from the ground ... Happy surfing!
