We have a Trane heat pump with supplementary heating. I want to change the thermostat to a programmable Honeywell. Yes, it will still work when you need it depends on you need to be at different times during the day program or just go to a specific time to see, do not forget that you are a t-stat have that 2 of the warm phase 1 and phase cooling
